It feels like green beauty is completely on fire these days. Each week there’s some more incredible products that are being released. Here’s some of the latest that I’ve tried!
Detox Mode’s Here + There Balm – Oh my gosh! Where has this been all of my green beauty life? And the color is gorgeous! Detox Mode’s newest baby is their emerald green super balm made with shea butter, spirulina and hemp. You can use this balm for EVERYTHING including elbows, heels, cuticles (and manicure) and I recommend putting some on your feet at night to keep your pedicure – and feet – in great condition. The fresh, citrusy scent is a big bonus. I love this little guy and the fact that it doesn’t have that oily feel, either. If you’re getting one balm…go for this! Another Detox Mode winner. Follain’s Own Label – Follain sent me a bunch of their signature line to test out and the results have been wonderful. Not only are their products affordable, but the packaging on many of them is also eco-friendly. Their Sugar & Shea Body Scrub tube is made from recycled plastic AND the scrub is a true blue wonder as it leaves the skin soft and totally moisturized (no need for a follow-up cream or body oil). I recommend trying their multi-purpose soap that can be re-filled at their stores. Also try their their body soap (so affordable) and their lip balm that has the yummiest scent. Shop here.
Odacité’s Blue Aura Cleansing Water – Can washing your face get any easier? Did you ever come home late at night and you’re SO not in the mood to wash your face? Well, just sprinkle some of this gorgeous, fresh-smelling cleanser on a cotton round and wipe everything off (not for eyes, though). This cleanser does not need to be rinsed off and it acts like both a toner and cleanser in one. With aloe vera, neem, holy basil, turmeric, salicylic acid and grapefruit, it leaves the skin feeling so fresh and clean. I also think it’s a great skin pick up for the midday!
