Green Beauty has gotten sooooo good. We used to have to wait forever between exciting releases, but now it just seems like there’s great boxes and products being released all of the time. Here’s what’s new and what I’m really excited about for this season.
ECO TAN SELF TANNER – Summer is coming! Those of you who are looking for a non-toxic self tanner, Margot from The Choosy Chick swears by this so much and just recently started carrying it. This Australian line of tanning products takes the orange look and awful scent out of self-tanners (ugh, finally). Need help picking what to get? Winter Skin is for all skin tones (including fair), Invisible Tan is great for those of you already starting off with some color, Face Tan Water is for face and neck and get the Cacao Tanning Mousse if you’re heading straight to the beach and want instant color (the longer you keep it on, the deeper the color). ILIA’S TRUE SKIN SERUM FOUNDATION – This foundation is all that I keep hearing about. I mean, I have had several bloggers and a big makeup artist extol its praises! I’m getting it, I promise, but I just have to figure out what color I am. From what I understand, it’s a buildable medium coverage, very smooth and flawless! It’s serum-infused, so it nourishes the skin and doesn’t leave that dry/cakey “I’m wearing foundation” look. So, if you’re looking for a new liquid foundation…I might have your new favorite right here.
MYSTIKOL POWDERED EYELINER IN EMERALD + SAPPHIRE – There couldn’t be an easier way to apply powdered eyeshadow and these new colors are gorgeous. The design of the packaging is also brilliant because the brush is in the top. If you’d like to incorporate a bolder shade this Spring/Summer, I recommend you go for this beautiful green or this electric blue…I love using them as a accent color.
