THE UNISEX CHARCOAL DEODORANT
I’m a sucker for all things charcoal…especially deodorants and don’t worry, this gray-hued natural deodorant won’t stain your clothing gray (a common question with charcoal). With the fresh, bright scent of basil and mint (coolest combo and it smells heavenly) this deodorant will appeal to both men and women, making it totally unisex, so if you’ve been trying to get the men in your life to quit the toxic conventional deodorants, I would go for this as the scent and performance will be a great fit. Although this Cleo + Coco’s Basil Mint does contain baking soda, I had zero irritation while using it, but you may choose to go with their sensitive one which is baking soda-free. This deodorant isn’t an anti-perspirant, but rather a deo that will rid you of odor-causing bacteria and toxins due to star ingredients, activated charcoal and bentonite clay (high in magnesium). As much as we might fight it, perspiring is not only natural, but a key function of the body and inhibiting it can be harmful to your health, so sweat it out, but do it without stinking!
THE DUSTING POWDER + DRY SHAMPOO
I love a body powder. Why? Because if you get waxings or have a baby, you need, need, need a pure powder. Baby powder contains talc, which, as we know, is a very dangerous ingredient. Doesn’t it make more sense to use a powder with activated charcoal, essential oils, bentonite clay and vegetable powders? Cleo + Coco’s Dusting Powder is so light and silky that it can even be used as a dry shampoo (I love multi-use). On really hot days, I like to use a powder over my deodorant and on my back and chest. This little container is also so easy to carry with you, so bring it to your wax appointments (I’ve been doing this for years). Oh, the smell of this! Can this please be made into a natural fragrance? It smells so good! So smooth, the Cleo + Coco’s Sensitive Deodorant is completely baking soda-free, yet still contains two of nature’s best odor- fighting ingredients: coconut derived Activated Charcoal and Bentonite Clay. Blue Tansy essential oil helps to calm and soothe the underarm area and it does…applying this feels more like a underarm treatment rather than just a deodorant.
