Makeup! What The Green Product Junkie Is Wearing Now!

There’s so much great makeup out there for Spring/Summer and this is what I’m currently using from Ere Perez, Kari Gran and Ilia, too!

LIP GLOSS When I looked at the jar, I was a little hesitant because I figured it was probably too dark for me, but I was really tempted to give it a shot because I’m a big fan of apricots and peaches and Kari Gran’s new Lip Whip in Cora Gold sounded like something right up my alley. Turns out, it is! I’ve been using this burnt coral with a slight gold shimmer since I received it and it truly is a unique and easy color to wear instead of my usual peach and pink. SPRING LIPSTICK I’ve been into Hynt Beauty’s Bellini Nude lately. I would definitely recommend trying out this lipstick as it is a wonderful formulation. Great pigment, beautiful colors and there’s even a little contraption on the top that contains lip balm!

LIP LINER Sesame Lip Liner from Ere Perez seems to be the best thing I’ve tried in terms of lip liners in a long time. I can’t stand a dry, matte liner and this one is exactly what I love – long lasting, just enough of a slip and it feels great on the lips. The color I’m wearing here is Sweet. FACE PRIMER I love the Australian brand, Inika, Organic Primer for many reasons. They make a great foundation, fantastic lengthening mascara and a wonderful face primer pre-makeup. If you wear face oils, it doesn’t mattify the skin, but definitely takes away some of that oily look (I’m not a fan of that with my foundation). LIPGLOSS Hands down, just being honest here, the best lip gloss out there is by Kjaer Weis. It just is. I have all of the colors and trust me, they are worth every last dime. Plus, they do last. These are refillable, but I must say, the top makes them a bit too heavy for me, so I would recommend (unless you’re into the look of the top) just ordering the refills (less expensive AND lighter in your handbag). My favorite colors are Affinity, Fascination and Tenderness (I’m guessing because they have the most color to them). Get them here.

FOUNDATIONS are easy because I’ve already written about them here. This is the first time in my entire life that I have three foundations that I switch up. Usually I have my one favorite and that’s what I stick to, but within the last few months, so many good ones have come out, that I now have three! Check out my post here.

BLUSH I’m a fan of cream blush. Mainly because I feel like it looks the most natural, feels the best on the skin and that it leaves the skin looking healthy, as opposed to dry and matte. I love the new Ere Perez Carrot Color Pot (I have the color Healthy, but I want many of them. Other cream blush that I recommend? Kjaer Weis (I wear Precious, Blossoming and Happy). The KW colors are absolutely lovely and there’s so many of them. Plus, they’re refillable, too.

MASCARA I have many mascaras that I love. One of the latest is the Ere Perez Avocado Waterproof Mascara. You’d never think that it’s green beauty. I also love Inika for lengthening, W3ll People for just about everything and you can read about all of these here.
