MEOW MEOW TWEET
Frankincense + Flowers Body Oil
Tara from Meow Meow Tweet has gotten me completely hooked on Geranium since I started using this. The Meow Meow Tweet body oils are rich, absorb fast and have gorgeous ingredients that leave the skin hydrated and silkay (yeah, I said silkay). Oh, and the scents? Wowee. But if you really love geranium, get this one. $22
Tangerine, Basil + Poppyseed Bar Soap
Rich with ton of poppy seeds, this soap bar is one of my all-time favorite soaps. Handmade in Brooklyn, this fresh-smelling soap blows my mind every time I use it. If you like a litte exfoliation whilst you bathe or shower, please give this one a try, or the Cinnamon Coffee if you like your coffee with a subtle exfoliation and some spicy cinnamon. $12
(I’m choosing these two, but everyone already knows that MMT makes my favorite deodorant!)
SKINOWL
SkinOwl Body Oil
The SkinOwl body oil takes the friggin’ cake! Unscented, it’s hard to describe how unique and wonderful this body oil is until you’ve tried it. It leaves the skin with thee most gorgeous glow and it’s super wonderful for those of you who need lots of hydration. The consistency is super substantial, but glides on the skin in a way that I’ve never experienced. This is, by far, one of the best I’ve ever tried. Plus, it’s in a nice-sized bottle! $59
Beauty Drops
I was always raving about the SkinOwl Beauty Drops to anyone who would listen. I used the Geranium for combination, dry and dull skin, but there’s also Clary Sage for dry, aging skin and Lavender for oily, acneic and sensitive skins. All three have a base of pure Moroccan argan oil. My face absolutely loved the Beauty Drops and I’m highly recommending them if you’re in the market for an effective, affordable face oil. $30
CAPTAIN BLANKENSHIP
Days At Sea Dry Shampoo
This Captain Blankenship dry shampoo was a quick and fast fall in love kinda thing. Just a sprinkle of this insanely delicious dry shampoo and you’ll fall hard for the aroma of Rose Geranium (gosh golly) and Palmarosa. You need so little of this dry shampoo and it’ll leave your hair with a little volume, super clean-looking, a tad matte and best yet? Smelling gorgeous. Handmade and wonderful. $24
Mermaid Hair Oil
The Mermaid Hair Oil is one of the very few hair oils that didn’t leave my hair greasy-feeling. Again, this smells fantastic and you need so very little. Just wash your hair and put a little in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together and then add to your hair. I only added it to my ends, but you can also use on your scalp, too! Never tried the Captain? Bah, but you must! $24
KAHINA GIVING BEAUTY
Brightening Serum
This works. What else can I tell you? I like to use this before bed and I always wake up with thee most bright and fresh-looking skin. Because my skin is super dry, I like to use this along with a few drops of Kahina’s argan oil. Best results will be seen after four to six weeks and I recommend using this consistently. This serum has really evened out my skin and faded the hyper-pigmentation I have on my cheeks and nose and for that, I am a big fan. I’m also on my third bottle! $72
Night Cream
Choosing between Kahina’s products was a toughie. I’m pretty much in love with everything, but wanted to see if I could fill a gap that you might have in green beauty. So, with that, here’s the ever-glorious Kahina Night Cream that I currently have on my face even though it’s only dusk. So light, with a gorgeous subtle herbal scent, this hydrates the skin without ever feeling heavy (a rarity with night creams). I also use this when I feel like I need a little extra hydration and don’t want an oily feel to my skin. Superb. $105
