If there’s one look I love, it’s the Bardot.  I love  messy bedroom hair, a light lip and a gorgeous cat eye.  Being able to nail it is another thing altogether, but here’s this season’s makeup + hair to make it all happen!

THE BLACK CAT EYE

THE LIP

I love a peachy nude lip these days and I’ve been buying lots of them. What I’m recommending is that you pair a nude, a peach or a peachy nude with this look.  It’s just gorgeous and very modern. THE CHEEK

Apricot or a tame bronzer. Honestly, it looks good on everyone (I remember Kevyn Aucoin singing its praises back in the day).  My favorites? RMS Beauty’s Lost Angel, Kjaer Weis’ Cream Blush in Precious or even Kjaer’s new bronzer.  I’m also a huge fan of the loose blush from Alima Pure.  Some of them have a glowing effect and it’s absolutely lovely without being too overdone.   Make sure to add a little highlighter just above the cheekbone, down center of nose and even on brow bones.  I love the old favorite, Living Luminizer and Maya Chia’s highlighters.  

THE HAIR
